So Much to Tell ... So Little Time

Oh my ... I want to spend hours telling you all about our last few days.  However, the mosquitoes are eating me alive.  The internet at this KOA doesn't work at every campsite.  So, I am sitting  outside by the swimming pool, enjoying the company of the local mosquitoes.  Ugh!

We didn't have internet for the 3 days we were at Gregg's (except for the 2 hours I snuck away to Starbucks).  Then, we didn't have internet at our little campground in the woods last night in Arkansas.  So, tonight I decided to spend the extra  $$ to pay for a KOA ... and the internet isn't working at my campsite.

We pulled away from our campground at 7:30 this morning ... and arrived at our new campsite at 8:30 this evening.  We drove 560+ miles, with only a 2 hour lunch stop (at a National Monument) and then with just 1 potty/gas stop in the afternoon.  The kids were TROOPERS!!!  We ate dinner at 9:30, after setting up camp, and then the sweet KOA lady let us "sneak" into the pool area after it was "closed" for a late night swim.

Now, the kids are off showering, so I'd better go get them in bed.  We have another very long drive day tomorrow, as we head to South Dakota.

We have many stories to tell.  Hot Springs, Arkansas FAILED us ... as did Missouri's roads detours.  We kind of "caught air" as we were driving a narrow "roller coaster" road (unlike any road I have EVER seen, and I've driven a LOT of roads across this dear country).  Anyways, at the bottom of one of the "valleys" in the rollercoaster, we hit a bump and basically went flying.  Our trailer was dancing behind us.  Ben & I started laughing hysterically when we realized that we were all still alive and that the trailer was still humming along behind us.  It was, seriously, CRAZY scary!!!

Anyways ... off to the tent to escape the mosquitoes.
